Bitzy eyeshadow compacts at Sally Beauty

Looking for cute, cheap, empty eyeshadow palettes? $1.69!

Sally Beauty's Bitzy brand sells magnetic quad compacts, perfect size for Mac and Coastal Scents size eyeshadows. These are just like the white ones ELF used to make, but cuter + slightly better quality.

I picked up a few Bitzy eyeshadows to try out, they're nice for $1.69:

Queen of Crème, Petal to the Metal, Punky Purple, Party in the City, Dreamy, High Spirited, Cloud Nine

Bitzy is aimed at more 'sophisticated' hipster millennials, I guess... the color selection is very basic/neutral.

I'm a little sad that this $1.69 Bitzy brand replaced the $0.99 Sally Girl cosmetics-

Sally Girl eyeshadows were individually packaged and fun, vibrant colors!

The small round compacts were wet/dry eyeshadows- super pigmented when using a damp brush! And perfect size for travel.

CoastalScents.com has 99cent eyeshadow 'Hot Pot' sales at least twice per year.

Over 380 eyeshadow colors to choose from, of course I choose way too many! :-) haha

What happens when your eyeshadow arrives broken? Instead of shipping me a new eyeshadow CoastalScents.com told me I could either choose a $0.99 refund (the price I paid) OR get store credit for $1.95 (full price). So that sucks.

Coastal Scents HAUL

I have ZERO experience with Coastal Scents until today. I used to watch youtube videos with girls raving about some "88 color palette" but I would never use all those colors *shrug* I don't wear browns or nude/basic colors. So I never ventured over to their website...

until my ELF haul :-) I got a few of those refillable compacts, and 26mm pans fit- which happens to be a popular eyeshadow pan size, like for Mac and Coastal Scents haha so OK I'll give them a try!

Voilà! now I have my own contour & highlighting palette :-)

I bought 3 concealer pots (#1, 2, 3) and 7 eyeshadows (white silver, ice ballet, lavender, amethyst, edgy eggplant, bombshell, emerald ice). The pink+red triangles are free blush samples.
