haul: NYX Cosmetics and credit card fraud

 

I like NYX makeup (eventho quality has one downhill since L'Oreal bought them)... but I do NOT recommend ordering from NYXCosmetics.com. There were fraudulent charges on my credit card, customer service doesn't exist, and shipping took over 2 weeks. If I ever buy NYX makeup again I will only do it at Ulta when it's on sale.

Credit Card Scamming: I ordered from NYX cosmetics & days later found extra fraudulent charges on my credit card from L'Oréal, YAY!! So my card number wasn't hacked or stolen online, NYX was the criminal trying to steal from me. BUYER BEWARE! **Also, because NYX's customer service sucks you will need to contact your credit card company to get the fraudulent charges removed.

NYX Customer Service: I messaged NYX on their website and never got a message back. I wrote to them on Facebook and a week later they responded "contact our customer service on our website"- HA! I also tried calling NYX but never reached a human. So basically they ignore customers, yay.

NYX Shipping: I didn't get a shipping notice for 2weeks, then my package arrived 3 days later. WTF.

Missing Items: an eyeshadow was missing from my order, according to the package invoice slip apparently it was out of stock and I was not charged for it-- but why wasn't I notified via email before shipping?! RUDE

review: Designer Imposters perfumes and colognes (Walmart & Big Lots)

I found these fantastic DESIGNER IMPOSTER perfumes that smell just like the expensive brand names-

 $2.50 each at Big Lots and $8 at Walmart!

Dolce & Gabbana "Light Blue", Marc Jacobs "Daisy", Juicy Couture "Viva La Juicy"

Abercrombie & Fitch "Fierce", Gucci "Guilty", Giorgio Armani "Code"

Thierry Mugler "Angel" smells just like the real thing, patchouli and chocolate (but fades quickly)

PLUS Walmart has this men's holiday gift set cologne trio for only $9!

Abercrombie & Fitch "Fierce" is my FAVORITE cologne! sometimes I spray it on me or my pillow before bed and have the sweetest dreams, mmmm! I wish more guys would wear this scent!

Imposter Chanel No. 5 and Coco Mademoiselle smell very, very close to the current watered down versions of the authentic Chanel perfumes. Coco Chanel would be rolling over in her grave is she could smell what her company is selling as "perfume" these days! Perfume companies periodically re-formulate their scents because ingredients become too expensive or federal regulations outlaw particular chemicals- so the original (year 1919) animalistic Chanel #5 is not the exact same scent as the perfume being sold in stores today (year 2015). And this sad fact is a huge reason I won't pay full price for perfume in stores- I'd rather buy the older, original versions at garage sales; or at least pay discounted prices at stores like TJ Maxx/Marshalls/Ross. BUT these Designer Imposter fragrances are so fantastic :-) lol I'm definitely not shelling out for the real thing if there's a scent imposter instead!

Hello, my new most *favorite* things ❤

Hands-down the most surprising Designer Imposter I LOVE is Clinique "Happy"- I don't remember the original Happy smelling this GOOD! It smells so fresh and delicious and beautiful! I find myself wanting to wear this scent all the time :-)

Skin Nutritions "Ultimate Skincare System 1-2-3" is the Dollar Tree version of  Clinique's 3-Step System...

Step 1: Facial Cleanser

REVIEW: this made my face feel like a freshly waxed car, it was squeaky clean but there was a weird residue... then I read the ingredients = BEESWAX! it all makes sense now!! DON'T BUY THIS CRAP!

Step 2: Clarifying Lotion

REVIEW: this is a gentle toner, basically diluted witch hazel in a pretty bottle, just like Clinique! A+

Step 3: Youth Perfecting Intensive Moisturizer

REVIEW: clogged my pores because of the mineral oil, works better as a foot cream
